We were there right at the beginning when Brett and Andrew told us of their dream to create a brewery completely unlike any other in the UK.
They had big ideas and were soon challenging preconceptions of what beer could be and introducing beer drinkers to new and unexpected taste sensations.
It was clear that they needed an identity and bottle design that would set them apart from the rest of the brewing industry. The beer and the brand have been a huge success, they export worldwide and produce outstanding new beers.
We started working with the Bristol Beer Factory in 2010. Tasked with updating their bottle labels, we soon realised that the star element of their brand – the iconic "pint-pot" – was hidden away, almost out of sight. We simplified the logo and placed the pint-pot front and centre stage on bottles and pump clips, making it an instantly recognisable icon of the UK craft beer revolution.
We continue to work with them on new projects such as their Unlimited range. The bottle labels for this range were inspired by very people who conceived the recipes – using the same language that the brewers used to describe these rather special beers.
We rebranded Clifton Coffee Roasters in 2014. As well as being obsessed with coffee, Clifton Coffee are real machine boffs, their logo is based on a coffee roasting machine but also incorporates the two 'c's in the name and is reminiscent of a group handle for an espresso machine ...so we covered most coffee options with this one.
WWF's Living Planet Report is the world's leading, science-based analysis on the health of our only planet and the impact of human activity. We are very proud to have been asked to design the last two editions of WWF's flagship publication.
We also worked on the Living Forest Report, this consisted of five chapters, each chapters was published as an interactive pdf.
Although a school needs to have a professional and credible identity that speaks to parents and teachers, we think it's so important that the children can relate to the image too.

A dream come true! We were asked to brand a new chocolate company and design the packaging for ten different flavours in two sizes ... delicious.
Nene Valley Brewery wanted to expand sales outside their local area and felt a new look would help.
They also opened a fantastic restaurant named The Tap and Kitchen adjoining the brewery... so we branded that as well.
Ragmans Farm is involved in many activities, so we evolved their new brand into a kind of 'fuzzy felt' collection, all the elements used on their website header could be used on their other projects. The beehive for their honey, the mushroom log for the shiitake mushroom logs they sell and the apple tree, for their fresh juice range.
The most important information on the juice bottle are the ingredients (just organic fresh fruit) so we made them big and bold, put them on the front. We also coined the phrase 'Sustainable Land Juice'.
Homewood Cheeses are a small scale artisan cheesemakers based in the Mendips. They produce a range of ewes milk cheeses, all made by hand in small batches using traditional methods, using unpasteurised milk from a nearby flock and vegetarian rennet.
Another brewery rebrand! We gave this fantastic brewery a fresh look and design a template that enables Jon the brewer to create the labels himself - essential, when you produce as many amazing beers as Jon does.
If you're wondering what to drink with the food want to cook, or what food to pair with that special wine you've been saving then look no further!
We designed 'the most comprehensive food and rink pairing resource on the web'. 1000s of ideas, tips and techniques to make your meals taste amazing. Fantastic to work with the very inspiring Fiona Beckett.
We created the logo and bottle design for this new gin brand. The logo decorations are the "botanicals" used by award winning master distiller Jamie Baxter.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature help the world find pragmatic solutions to our most pressing environment and development challenges. We have designed many publications for them since 1999.
A craft cider maker at the heart of Somerset's cider land. Pilton make naturally sparkling cider by the old English method of keeving. Martin knew he made fantastic keeved cider but he also knew he needed to get a good brand to get his bottles accepted by the retailers he wanted to target. We designed and illustrated his labels, which appear in many of the best delicatessens in Bristol and the South West as well as Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Harrods ...
